Welcome to Torridon Infant & Nursery School.  We hope you find all the information you require on our website and enjoy finding out about what makes us so special.  Our most recent Ofsted Inspection in July 2015 substantiated the school’s self-evaluation that Torridon Infants is an outstanding school.

The children are at the centre of everything we do. We pride ourselves on being an  inclusive school where we place a great emphasis on children’s personal and social education, developing their confidence and helping them to grow as responsible citizens. We demand high standards of behaviour and respect for others.
We strive to ensure that all our children achieve high academic standards, enabling them to achieve their highest potential, in a safe and happy environment where they feel valued. There is a purposeful, calm atmosphere in the school where children are expected to work hard and learn new skills. We all know that happy children make the best learners therefore we make every effort in keeping self-esteem high by making life at school exciting, fun and enjoyable. We are always seeking new and creative ways of engaging children in learning experiences that motivate and entice them to deepen their understanding and develop a lifelong love of learning.

Our community is important to our school and we are committed to working in partnership with parents and carers to provide an education of the highest quality. Through regular newsletters, workshops, coffee mornings and celebration events, families and staff work hand in hand.

We look forward to welcoming you and your child into our school and ‘Working together to achieve our best’.

If you would like any further information or would like to arrange a visit to the school please do not hesitate to contact us.
